This whole drone thing that's taking place in Colorado is surely bizarre.
The drones have been around since mid December - flying above rural Colorado. The people in north east Colorado, near the Nebraska border, have been seeing these odd sights at night. They report that these drones are flying in tandem and seem to be aware of each other. Besides being seen in Philips County, they've also been spotted in Lincoln, Morgan, Sedgwick, Washington , and Yuma Counties - as well as in Nebraska, in Chase, Hitchlock, Lincoln and Perkins Counties. Currently we have no idea who owns these drones, what they're doing, or why they seem to only fly at night between the hours of 7pm and 10pm. They're six feet in diameter making them larger than your average DJI, and a lot more expensive as well. Someone with a lot of money owns these drones. Multiple news outlets have asked around to see who the owners are and so far it's a negative from Amazon, NORAD, Air Force, Army, FAA, and a slew of other organizations. These drones are flying in a grid formation, meaning they're scanning or surveying something. People haven't seen any cameras on these drones due to the fact that they're flying at night. As long as these people have the right documentation they are totally allowed to fly at night - so no rules broken there. So what do I think about this, being a Coloradan? I'm not sure what to feel. It's certainly odd that these drones are flying around at night, in formation. One of the videos I saw made it look like a triangular craft (unfortunately for us, I can't find the video anymore...) the same triangular craft that are being seen with even more frequency in recent years. Am I worried? No. I think this could easily be a wind farm surveying land using infrared cameras - or something a long those lines. It odd for sure but at this rate I don't think it's anything to be worried or alarmed at. The strangest thing is that no one has come forward with any kind of information as to why they're doing it. We have an earthly explanation, let's wait and see who's behind this before we jump to nefarious conclusions. This pilot witnessed an object follow his aircraft, I had a chance to transcribe his story.5/27/2019 ![]() A few days ago I had the chance to talk to a pilot here in my home state of Colorado. We started talking after he spotted me taking pictures of his aircraft. For those of you who don't know, I'm a photographer. Amateur , but I really enjoy taking pictures of airplanes. Especially old war planes. He walked up to me and asked me what I was doing. I explained myself and he was perfectly fine with what I was doing. Actually wanted to see my camera and the pictures I had taken. We started talking and he noticed my shirt. An old Blink-182 shirt. It's got an alien on it, he looks pretty sinister. Behind the alien is a silhouette of his alien buddies, and up in the sky are some flying saucers. It's an awesome shirt, kind of ragged and old - but I love it. He asked if I believe, I told him I undoubtedly believe that out there somewhere, are aliens. Are they visiting earth? Maybe. We both agreed. He went on to ask if I had ever seen any UFOs. I had. I told him my experience and asked the same question back at him. He had seen something just a few months earlier. He went on to explain what he saw. It was then that I realized that this would be an amazing story to tell on here. I asked if I could interview him at a later date, that way I would have my laptop and I could take notes. He agreed. There was just a small caveat. I was not to use his real name, disclose the organization he works for, or display N number from his plane, or any other identifying information. Of course I agreed. We set a time aside and a week later we met up and this is what he told me. Hi [Redacted]. First of all. How long have you been a pilot and is it your main job? Hi. I've been a pilot for about 15 years or so now. It is my main source of income, yes. I fly almost daily. Is it true that there is a stigma surrounding pilots and their stories of seeing UFOs in the skies? Very true. My father and grandfather are pilots and they've never shared their stories of seeing things in the skies that they could not explain. They even tell you to not say anything about the things that you could possibly see up there that seem paranormal or out of this world. They want it hushed and quiet. Why are you sharing your experience with me if there is such a strong disdain for sharing or talking about UFOs in the world of aviation? I want to share because I know, for a fact, that there are things out there in our skies that can not be explained. People need to ope their eyes and their minds to the possibility that there are objects up there that are not ours, and when I say not ours I mean they do not belong to earth. There seems to be a shift in this idea and people seem to be opening up so why not share now. I agree. It does seem as if there are more people believing. Have you seen the video that made the rounds a couple years ago from the New York Times? What do you think about it? I have seen it. I think it's an odd video. I can't come to any conclusion as to what the flying object is. It doesn't make sense. So. Let's get to why we are meeting today. You've seen something in the sky as recently as a couple months ago. What did you see? Well. It was in the beginning of March and I was flying west of Denver. It was just myself in the sky at that time. Sometimes I fly for fun, this was one of those times. It was roughly 5:45 in the evening and I was about 12,500 feet in the air. I was making an approach to land but was about 20 minutes out from doing so. As I was flying in towards the airport, I saw this flash of light and suddenly there was an object beside me. It was probably about 45 feet away from my aircraft keeping pace with it. It seemed to glow but I could see through the glow and make out some kind of physical object. It looked as if it was just a silver oblong sphere. If I could compare the metal to something earthly it would've looked similar to gallium, it seemed to flow like a liquid. It followed for about 15 minutes. Sorry to interrupt but did you say anything over the radio? Maybe something to the tower? I didn't say anything. I did not want to come across as a crazy person. Aren't you supposed to disclose what you see in the air at all times? You're supposed to tell the tower about oncoming aircraft, things like that. This thing just appeared out of nowhere. I could tell it wasn't going to attack me or be any kind of threat so, to save myself I didn't report it. So to avoid the bad press that comes with reporting this, you avoided saying anything? Exactly. I was alone in the aircraft coming in for a landing. Why make a fuss about it. I did not feel threatened. Well. You're here, that's good, Sorry to stop your story half way through. Please continue. So it followed me to my approach and as I came down from elevation it continued to stay with me, matching speed. It did however continue to stay at my previous altitude. I could see it still as I was descending. The object then zipped away. It just zoomed away at an incredible speed. Could an earthly machine be able to move that fast, as fast as that object zipped away? No way. There's nothing out there that I know of that can fly that quickly. So after that you just continued on with your life? Did anything strange happen afterwards? I went home. Told my wife, and continued to go to work as if nothing happened. Nothing strange really happened afterwards. Just life as normal. Some people report being visited by strange men in black suits. Did you get visited by anyone matching that description? You mean, Men in Black? Could you draw what you saw in the sky that day? I can. Exactly. No. Will Smith never came over. As far as you know. He might have used that memory eraser. You got a point there. Well [Redacted], thank you for taking the time to answer some of my questions. I hope you aren't too worried about what you saw. I'm perfectly fine answering your questions. It's good to share these things. People need to know. I never felt threatened. I just felt normal, at ease. If anything else happens I'll be sure to let you know. Hunt For The Skinwalker is a 2018 documentary from investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell. It's based on the book of the same name written by George Knapp and Dr. Colm Kelleher. It's a mixture of film from George Knapp’s personal archive of unreleased footage. It takes this original content from previous investigations and mixes it with new content from Corbell. The film is broken up into chapters that takes original footage and voiceover from Knapp to tell the story, Corbell then interludes with information and details that make transitions between topics smooth. The footage that Knapp brings to the table is what everyone wants to see. Lights in the sky, pictures and footage of mutilated cows, and other things that we’ve literally only read about. The thing that sticks out to me the most is the footage of what appears to be a building trying to apparate in an open space. It's as if there is some other universe and in this certain location the fabric of time and space is at its weakest, allowing these things to shimmer through. Of course there are physical events that have happened on the ranch as well, from shadow people to mysterious animals. I won't spoil these things for you. You have to keep in mind that these pictures and pieces of film are real, and come from the NIDS (National Institute for Discovery Science) program started by Robert Bigelow. The fact that actual NIDS members are interviewed and open about their experiences makes it even more real. Corbell interviews a woman who had an experience near the property. She breaks down during filming and cries. While watching this moment take place I wanted to jump in and give the woman a hug, her fear is real. Corbell then stands and comforts the woman. It’s certainly a genuine moment. There is no real conclusion here, the investigations are still ongoing through the sale of the ranch, and the new owner is invested in continuing research. It’s a continuing story and comes out at a time where the government is coming forward with new programs about UFOs/UAPs. The film actually ends on that note. It ties all of the recent news about AATIP and other research groups, publicly funded or not, together. It’s a story that’s still developing. I sense updates coming in the future, let’s hope it doesn’t take forever for new information to come out. All that aside, the cinematography is beautiful. Shots are planned out and you really get a sense for the area. You know the location is rural and that the people who live in the area are long time residents. Families have lived on these lands for generations. If you’re a fan of mysterious happenings, high strangeness, UFOs and other wild things you probably already know of the ranch and some of the stories. The film is worth the watch even if you’re not into this stuff. Corbell does not seek to make you a believer, he seeks to make you think about the possibilities. Walking away from this film just leaves you with more questions than answers. I kind of prefer it this way. Do you want to know what dark forces are behind these events? Maybe humanity is better off not knowing? What I do know is that there is still more to discover, more to learn, and eventually, humanity might understand. I give this film 4 UFOs out of 5. Hunt For The Skinwalker can be found on iTunes, Vimeo, and other On Demand services today! Seeing I believing, right? Sometimes it is - other times it isn't.
